Job security for persons to be affected by the opening of a new T&T Revenue Authority will be taken into consideration by a Memorandum of Understanding between the Government and PSA.
The authority, once opened, will take over the responsibilities of the Board of Inland Revenue and the Customs and Excise Division.
It will also investigate tax evasion and conduct audits.
However, Finance Minister Colm Imbert says PSA President Watson Duke has raised several concerns about the transition.
Mr Imbert says the PSA boss will be bringing, within the month, a document outlining their concerns.
For there an MOU can be drafted, given Cabinet approval and signed by both parties.
