I have found myself viewing TV quite a lot as a result of staying at home during our pandemic.
With great concern, I have noticed the high incidence of prime time advertisements by local astrologers.
They have to be financially expansive in order to keep this up. It means quite a large number of our people use these services.
I find it difficult to accept that our country has such a large population of mundane intellect in the 21st century. Astrology has very little science in it.
Some of the advertising suggests ‘guaranteed’ results.
Is there something wrong with this?
Can the Consumer Affairs Division do something about it?
Can investigative reporters look into this?
To me it seems to be advantage being taken of the gullible in our society.
