Two men have been arrested, after a mini mart in Lowlands Tobago was robbed and a female cashier was violated.
Police state that around 8:30 last night, a man armed with a cutlass entered the establishment, announced a robbery and stole cash, two boxes of cigarettes and a pack of wrapping paper.
Before leaving, the suspect ordered the 18 year old to raise her clothing to touch her private parts.
The bandit then escaped in a waiting Toyota Aqua vehicle, but officers were able to intercept the vehicle in the Canaan area shortly after.
The suspects from Buccoo, who are 20 and 28 years old were arrested, while the stolen items were recovered.
