Two COVID-19 related deaths have been announced this morning, bringing the total number of fatalities to 21.
The Health Ministry says both persons are elderly males with co-morbidities.
38 additional persons have also tested positive for COVID -19, while 8 persons have been discharged.
There are now 990 active cases of the virus in T&T.
75 of these are hospitalized while 870 patients are in home isolation under the continuous monitoring of the respective County Medical Officer Health (CMOH) offices.
38 new patients will be processed for admission at the discretion of the CMOHs, while 7 remain in step down facilities.
Since the start of the pandemic, T&T has confirmed 1,683 cases of COVID-19.
