106 schools have been selected to be part of an Education Ministry remediation programme.
This was announced by Minister Gadsby-Dolly yesterday who said it is split between 80 primary and 26 secondary schools.
She explained that the Ministry selected schools based on several areas which need improvement.
Dr Gadsby-Dolly said the intervention involves the development of a multifaceted system of support.
The intent is to ensure students achieve the basic certification needed for future self-sufficiency.
