86 additional persons have tested positive for COVID -19.
The death toll remains at 67, as no new fatalities have been reported.
The Health Ministry, in its morning update, says the 86 new patients will be processed for admission at the discretion of the County Medical Officers of Health.
15 persons have also been discharged from public health facilities, and there are 52 recovered community cases
Recovered community cases refer to persons who were previously COVID-19 positive and in self-isolation at home and subsequently met the discharge criteria and were released from self-isolation.
As such there are 2,118 active cases of the virus in T&T.
Of these, 94 are hospitalized, including five in the Intensive Care Unit and seven in the High Dependency Unit.
Since the start of the pandemic, T&T has recorded 4,222 cases of COVID-19.
