27 new COVID-19 cases, no additional fatalities


    27 new cases of COVID-19 have been recorded.

    The death toll meanwhile remains at 93, with no additional fatalities recorded today.

    According to the Health Ministry’s daily update, 15 persons have been discharged from public health facilities, and there are 64 additional recovered community cases.

    It also explains that on October 9th, six recovered community cases were omitted in error from the total recovered cases.

    Those six have been added to the dashboard to rectify the anomaly.

    As of this afternoon, there are 1,609 active cases of COVID-19 in T&T.

    Of those, 103 persons are hospitalized, including eight in the ICU and two in the HDU.

    Since the start of the pandemic, this country has confirmed 5,154 cases of the virus.
