48 promoted officers told to remove rogue elements

48 officers who were today given Promotions by the Police Commissioner have been told to operate at a high standard and remove rogue elements.

10 Inspectors were promoted to Assistant Superintendent, nine Assistant Superintendents were promoted to Superintendent and 29 Corporals were promoted to Sergeant.

Commissioner Griffith said the TTPS is on the threshold of modernization and transformation, and as leaders, the officers must be the catalyst with the way they act and approach their duties.

This, he says will play a part in how quickly the service develops.

The top cop also told the officers that their promotions were well earned and deserved and he will continue to do all in his power to give them the support and recognition they require to do their jobs.
