5 road fatalities already in 2020, TTPS urges drivers to be more cautious

In the wake of recent deadly accidents, the TTPS is calling on motorists to exercise greater care and caution when driving on the nation’s roadways.

It says five road fatalities have already been recorded in the first ten days of 2020, with two of those occurring in Tobago.

It hopes drivers will exercise greater care and responsibility to ensure no more lives are needlessly lost, especially as the country moves into the busy Carnival period.

Persons are urged to obey speed limits, use seat-belts and adjust their driving behaviours to adverse conditions.
