Golden Grove Road is now accessible to vehicular traffic, following the construction of a bailey bridge.
Last week a bridge and part of the roadway along Golden Grove Road collapsed, disrupting the flow of traffic.
As he opened the temporary bailey bridge today, Works Minister Rohan Sinanan gave an update on repair work for the collapsed structure.
He says WASA has also sorted out its line which was damaged in the collapse, with water being restored to the area.
While construction of the temporary bridge was underway, the Works Ministry temporarily opened access to a section of the Priority Bus Route.
The opening of the bridge however means the PBR is now once again off limits to private vehicles.
