Government will go out for consultations to ensure issues are addressed to allow full proclamation of public procurement law.
The Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Property Act has been assented and is awaiting proclamation.
It seeks to standardize procurement processes and remove bid rigging.
However, speaking in Parliament today, Attorney General Reginald Armour said concerns were raised by the Judiciary and the Office of the Procurement Regulator.
Mr Armour said he has since brought those concerns to the attention of the Prime Minister.
