Archbishop Gordon: be Christmas angels

Roman Catholic Archbishop Jason Gordon is urging persons to become Christmas angels to those in need.

In his message for the occasion, he reminds that Jesus was born in humble surroundings, and was visited first by shepherds, the most lowly of people who lived in the field with their sheep.

These were people on the margins, and this Christmas, Mr Gordon wants persons to share their Christmas cheer with those who are on the margins of their communities.

Doing so he adds, will bring hope, joy and help others experience their dignity and their worth as children of God.
