Augustine announces legal action against Duke

THA Chief Secretary Farley Augustine says he will pursue legal action regarding recent allegations levelled by Watson Duke.

In announcing his resignation as Deputy Chief Secretary last week, Mr Duke claimed there was bribery and corruption.

Mr Augustine says he has been in touch with his lawyer.

Mr Augustine also claimed that recent “noise” was aimed at disrupting the release of the Audit report on the THA.

The Chief Secretary spoke this morning the Post Executive Council Media Briefing, during which time he unveiled Dr. Faith B Yisrael as Deputy Chief Secretary elect.

Dr Yisrael will replace Mr. Duke, while also retaining her post as Secretary of Health.
