British Airways has returned to Tobago.

According to the THA, 91 passengers disembarked a BA flight at the ANR Robinson International Airport on Monday.

THA Chief Secretary Farley Augustine says this is “extremely significant” for the island, since the UK represents its largest international source market.

He also hailed the flight as being a signal that Tobago is once again open for business.

Tourism Secretary Tashia Grace Burris says she is now looking forward to BA resuming their operations on a weekly basis.

She adds that the Division will be engaging in stakeholder consultations as it works to revive Tobago’s tourism market.
