Bangladesh to ban fishing for 65 days

Bangladesh has reportedly placed a ban on fishing off its coast for two months to help revive fish stocks.

The BBC reported that the ban begins on May 20th and ends on July 23rd, but thousands of fishermen are reportedly planning to protest the ban.

They argue that they will be left without a source of income.

The government says the coast guard and navy will enforce the ban in the Bay of Bengal.
