Former Prime Minister Basdeo Panday has been named campaign manager for his daughter Mikela Panday’s political party, the Patriotic Front.
This announcement was made at a media conference earlier today where she reiterated the party’s intention to contest all 41 constituencies in this year’s General Election.
She also revealed that the party will have access to a committee of experienced persons who ran the country’s government from 1995-2001.
Ms Panday says the party is fed up of the “recycling of the same politicians every five years.”
She notes that interested persons can apply online at pftnt.org or collect a hard copy of the nomination form at our head office located at Marie Street, Chaguanas.
