Boys, 14 and 15, arrested for stealing guard’s gun


    Two boys, ages 14 and 15, have been arrested after allegedly robbing a security guard of his gun.

    Around 3pm yesterday, the boys went to a supermarket at Union Road in Marabella, where one allegedly confronted the guard, demanding his firearm.

    A struggle ensued during which time the weapon was discharged once.

    The suspect then allegedly bit the guard on his left arm before seizing the gun and escaping.

    The boys, both of South Trinidad, were arrested a short while later.
