CAL introduces thermal scanners at head office

Thermal scanners have been introduced at Caribbean Airlines’ head office in Piarco to help limit and control the spread of COVID-19.

According to a release from the company, this means visitors and employees will be screened to see whether their body temperature is at an acceptable level as prescribed by the Chief Medical Officer.

The company notes that devices are currently being used on a trial basis and will be monitored to assess their effectiveness.

Similar measures are being considered for offices throughout CAL’s network.
