Government is being urged to publicize the locations and scope of road works which have been allocated money in the 2023 budget.

This comes from UWI Civil Engineer Dr Don Samuel who has made a list of 12 recommendations to government following the presentation of the fiscal package.

He says more information needs to be shared with the public regarding works to be done by the Local Government and Works Ministries.

Dr Samuel believes government should also state the locations and scope of road repairs within each of the 14 municipal corporations.

In addition, he says the composition of the board of the Secondary Road Rehabilitation Company should be revealed, as well as the purpose of the money allocated to the new organization.
