Chief Medical Officer Dr Roshan Parasram says an increase in COVID-19 cases is expected in the coming days.
Speaking during today’s Health Ministry briefing, the CMO pointed to recent public behaviour.
There are currently 161 active cases of COVID-19 in T&T.
Also speaking today was Technical Director of the Ministry’s, Epidemiology Division Dr Avery Hinds, who again warned that any symptoms, especially mild ones, should not be dismissed as allergies or other routine ailments.
Instead, persons exhibiting any type of respiratory ailments are asked to take the proper precautions, including medical intervention.
