Concern for Lion leads to increased visitors at Zoo

A recent viral photo questioning the health of an African Lion at the Emperor Valley Zoo led to an increased amount of visitors at the facility.

The Zoo’s management says this in turn boosted its gates sales, which will continue to support the welfare of all its animals.

There were many persons on social media expressing concern for the gaunt-looking Lion, however the Zoo confirmed that they were not malnourished, but fed their recommended 25 pounds of fresh meat every other day.

The management, while thanking their large number of recent visitors, also thanked the media for supporting the Zoo by keeping the facility in the news.
