A Debe man was arrested as police recovered 94 stolen sheep and goats.
Yesterday, police responded to a report of larceny and robbery with violence, which occurred around 1am on August 16th.
A watchman at the Mayaro Breeding Unit told the officers that he was on duty, when he was approached by two armed individuals who restrained him and took his cell-phone, keys to the facility, keys to a tractor, and his vehicle.
The assailants also took a number of sheep and goats from the facility before escaping.
The officers subsequently executed a search warrant at the Debe home of a male suspect, which resulted in 94 animals being discovered.
