Government is concerned about some 25-49-year-old citizens who it claims are taking COVID-19 into homes and infecting the elderly.

This demographic was highlighted by Health Minister Terrence Deyalsingh during today’s media briefing as he spoke on the driving factors for the virus in T&T.

He says a change in their behaviour can help protect health workers, who remain a top priority.

Another area of concern is the continued disregard for proper mask wearing, despite it being written into law.

Mr Deyalsingh is also calling on employees who are ill to avoid going into work.
