Amitabh Bachchan is denying news reports in India that he has fully recovered from COVID-19.
The star took to his official Twitter account today, sharing a video report from Times Now.
His caption goes on to deny the report’s claim that he had tested negative for the virus, which would mean that he had recovered.

Times Now has since withdrawn the story and issued an apology.

Amitabh himself has been keeping in touch with his fans as he battles the virus, often thanking them for their prayers and support.
He was admitted to hospital on July 12th after testing positive along with his son Abhishek.
Daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and granddaughter Aaradhya have also contracted the virus, however his wife Jaya remains COVID-free.
