The departure of judge Gabrielle Union from America’s Got Talent is being investigated after she raised concerns about the culture of the show.
Union claims the show has a toxic culture and now the Screen Actors Guild‐American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (Sag-Aftra) is probing the matter.
NBC, which makes the show, said it was “committed to ensuring a respectful workplace for all employees”.
Last week, the former judge’s husband, ex-basketball player Dwayne Wade, claimed she had been “fired” and he was “still waiting on a good answer” to explain why.
Sag-Aftra says it takes “issues of workplace health and safety very seriously”.
