Kirstie Alley has died at the age of 71.
According to Associated Press, her children True and Lillie Parker said in a post that she died on Monday of cancer that was only recently discovered.
It adds that this was later confirmed by her manager, Donovan Daughtry.
Alley starred as Rebecca Howe on the sitcom “Cheers” from 1987 to 1993.
She also starred in a number of films such as “Look Who’s Talking” and and its two sequels, “It Takes Two” and “For Richer Or Poorer”.
