Marvel’s “Black Widow” will be released in cinemas as well as on Disney Plus (with a US$30 rental fee) on July 9th.
The film, starring Scarlett Johansson, will be hitting screens two months later than its original release date of May 7th.
According to Marvel’s website, this spy thriller sees Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow confronting the darker parts of her ledger.
It will be available on Disney Plus through Premier Access which comes with a US$30 rental fee.
Meanwhile, the company says, on May 28th “Cruella” will receive this same treatment for its release.
This live-action feature follows a young Cruella de Vil, a character from Dodie Smith’s 1956 novel “The Hundred and One Dalmatians” and introduced on screen in Walt Disney’s 1961 animated film “One Hundred and One Dalmatians.”
Also, Pixar’s “Luca”, a coming-of-age story about one young boy experiencing an unforgettable summer, will now debut exclusively on Disney+ on June 18.
