Raymond Ramnarine will celebrate his birthday this year with a two-day festival of music titled, “The Show Stoppa at SAPA.”
As one can surmise, it takes place at the Sundar Popo Auditorium, Southern Academy for the Performing Arts, San Fernando.
Day One is Saturday September 28th with the show starting at 8pm while Day Two is Sunday September 29, with the entertainment to begin at 5:30pm.
This unique festival will feature Indo and Indo-Trinidadian music along with other musical styles, by a number of guest artistes.
Raymond explained the motive behind this unique celebration of his special day.
Shows by Raymond and Dil-E-Nadan are consistently sold out, so this two day festival allows more fans the opportunity to see them perform.
It also helps the band, since they have built up quite an expansive portfolio of music over the years, which is too vast to present in one night.
“The Show Stoppa At SAPA” is being produced and presented by Randy Glasgow Productions, in collaboration with Dil-E-Nadan.
Another special feature of this event is that patrons are being invited to bring their own food and drinks to enjoy at their vehicles in the car park during the extended intermission and after the shows each night.
Regular and VIP tickets will go on sale July 15th across the country and at www.chutneyland.com.
