Netflix has announced a third installment of “The Kissing Booth”, just days after “The Kissing Booth 2” debuted on on the streaming site.
And according to CNN, the third installment won’t be jeopardized by the COVID-19 pandemic, because it has already been filmed and is in post-production.
The original “Kissing Booth” was released in May 2018, and told the story of a high school student who falls in love with her best friend’s older brother.
The sequel, which premiered on Friday, sees their long-distance relationship tested.
The core cast – Joey King, Joel Courtney, Taylor Zakhar Perez, Maisie Richardson-Sellers and Meganne Young – announced during Netflix’s #TKBFanFest live stream on Sunday that they are all set to reprise their roles in the third film.
