Queen Elizabeth II gets her own Barbie doll

Mattel has unveiled a Queen Elizabeth II Barbie doll, in honour of the monarch’s Platinum Jubilee.

The unveiling came as she celebrated her 96th birthday today, April 21st 2022.

Queen Elizabeth II is the longest-ruling monarch in British history, having ascended the throne on February 6th 1952.

According to Reuters, the doll will be sold in London stores Harrods, Selfridges and Hamleys ahead of official Platinum Jubilee celebrations in early June.

On its website, Mattel posted the following description:
