A website has been launched in the memory of the late Sushant Singh Rajput.
The actor died by suicide on Sunday and his team has decided to collate all the positive views, thoughts and memories of the late actor best known.
He would often post his thoughts on social media using the following hastag: #SelfMusing.
It’s fitting therefore that the website is selfmusing.com.
It’s generally blank right now but a caption at the bottom reads: “Sushant Singh Rajput was an Indian actor, dancer, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. #SelfMusing was his passion. As promised to him, this is a space having all his thoughts, learnings, and wishes he always wanted people to know. We are in the process of documenting all the positive energies he has left behind in this world. Bollywood is just 20% of Sushant, using this space, we will try our best to finish his book. This space will ensure that he is #AlwaysAlive with us & give positive inspiration to his “Godfathers,” Aka You.”
Sushant was best known for films such as “Kai Po Che”, “Chhichhore” and “MS Dhoni The Untold Story”.
ALLEGATIONS OF NEPOTISM IN BOLLYWOOD
In the aftermath of his death meanwhile, there has been a revival of the topic of nepotism in Bollywood.
Many have accused well known industry figures of ignoring or even deliberately stifling upcoming talent and those who have no family in the film world.
There are allegations that Sushant was one of those impacted by this practice.
Angry fans have since began calling for a boycott of certain filmmakers and actors.
There has also been a direct impact on the social media handles of some celebrities.
According to a report by the Hindustan Times, large numbers of persons have unfollowed those being accused of fuelling nepotism in the film industry.
Hundreds have also left disapproving and mean comments on posts by certain celebrities.
The reason behind the actor’s suicide is not known, as no note was found.
According to reports, investigations are continuing.
