Zoë Kravtiz has landed the coveted role of Catwoman in “The Batman” starting Robert Pattinson as the Caped Crusader.
The 30 year old, who stars in HBO’s “Big Little Lies”, was announced in the iconic role by Variety on Monday.
Actresses who have taken on the role previously include Julie Newmar, Eartha Kitt, Halle Berry, Anne Hathaway and Michelle Pfeiffer.
Kravitz though, is no stranger to Catwoman, having already voiced the character in “The Lego Batman Movie” in 2017.
Pre-production on “The Batman” begins in the summer of 2020
“The Batman” is scheduled to hit theaters on June 25th 2021.
Kravitz is the daughter of musician Lenny Kravitz and actress Lisa Bonet.
