Environmentalist: Let’s overcome our fears and stop killing snakes

There are instances where killing a snake is illegal but more than that exterminating the reptiles could negatively impact your health.

This is the advice coming from environmentalist Stephen Broadbridge who recently posted that a venomous Bushmaster was killed on State land.

He says the law states that no snake must be killed on State land and only venomous ones can be killed on private property.

Mr Broadbridge says the animals play an important role in safeguarding human health.

Mr Broadbridge says there are many persons available via Facebook who can remove snakes from your property and the zoo does it for free – just call 800-4ZOO.
