Former WICB Communications Officer passes away


    A former Communications Officer of the West Indies Cricket Board, Imran Khan, has died reportedly after contracting COVID-19.

    This is according to a media release by the West Indies Players’ Association which says Mr Khan served on both the WICB and Guyana Cricket Board before venturing into politics.

    WIPA President and CEO, Wavell Hinds, says he was part of the West Indies team when Khan was media liaison.

    He notes that he had love and passion for cricket which was always evident in the way he carried out the duties.
