Government has confirmed the execution of a police warrant at the home of Public Administration Minister Marlene McDonald this morning.
This came in a brief statement from Communications Minister Donna Cox.
Aside from that however, the Minister said it was an ongoing police investigation, with further information to be provided as it is made available by the Police Service.
The TTPS meanwhile says Minister McDonald and her husband were “arrested and taken into custody” for questioning.
It says the detention was made by officers investigating alleged corruption offences, adding that more information will be provided when it becomes available.
