There will be no Independence Day parade this year.

This is according to National Security Minister Stuart Young who says the decision was made after careful consideration regarding the COVID-19 pandemic.

The military style parade usually attracts such a large gathering that traffic arrangements are put in place around the Queen’s Park Savannah.

Even without the event this year, persons are being reminded to abide by the COVID-19 regulations in place.
