A T&TEC employee is awaiting results on a COVID-19 test and his five crew members have been taken to hospital in the interim.
This has been revealed by Public Utilities Minister Fitzgerald Hinds while responding to questions in Parliament this afternoon.
Mr Hinds says the man’s colleagues are yet to be tested as they await his test results.
“He was feeling unwell the day before (May 16th 2020) and his results are pending. On May 19th 2020 all other five employees of that crew were sent to the Mt Hope health facility. They were not tested but were given sick leave pending the results consistent with that employee who was tested on May 17th.”
