Government is being urged to meet with stakeholders on COVID-19 and stop accusing the population of being irresponsible.
This comes from Opposition Leader Kamla Persad-Bissessar who believes blaming citizens is deflecting blame from poor leadership.
She believes vaccination is only way out of the pandemic but claims government failed to act swiftly in this regard.
She also claims that the narrative that small nations are unable to obtain vaccines is false, as Barbados, with a population of 287,000, has given out 75,300 doses.
Mrs Persad-Bissessar is calling on government to engage all stakeholders and the UNC to form a united front to fight COVID-19.
