Port of Spain South MP Marlene McDonald has been discharged from hospital.
The former Minister left the St Clair Medical Centre around 3pm today.
She told reporters gathered that she was in “excellent” health and believes she will be “vindicated” by the court.
Ms McDonald had been warded since Monday, after she complained of feeling unwell.
She was due in court that day to answer to charges of conspiracy to defraud the Government, money laundering and misbehaviour in public office.
The charges were instead read in absentia and she was granted 2 million dollars bail, which has since been processed.
