Agitated seas conditions around the north and east coasts of Trinidad and Tobago are forecast to continue until 2pm on Thursday.
According to the Met Office’s Hazardous Seas Alert #2, waves are reaching heights of between 2.5m and 3m in open waters.
In sheltered areas, conditions continue to be choppy at times.
Persons with marine interests are urged to assess conditions and exercise extreme caution along affected areas.
It also says persons should heed the warnings of lifeguards and other relevant authorities.
