Met Service: No threat for T&T from Tropical Storm Jerry


    Tropical Storm Jerry currently poses no threat to Trinidad and Tobago.

    However, it is forecast to affect the northern Leeward Islands Thursday night into Friday.

    The storm is currently located about 1545 km east of the islands with winds of 75 km per hour.

    Additional strengthening is expected in the next few days and the National Hurricane Centre is forecasting hurricane status as it moves near the Leeward Islands.
