A 27 year old Laventille man is due in court today charged with the murder of Tafari Wilson on Sunday 26th May, 2019.
The accused also faces charges of possession of a firearm, possession of ammunition and two counts of common assault.
26 year old Wilson was with two other men along Trou Macaque Road when they were approached by a lone gunman who shot at them.
The assailant escaped while the victim was taken to the Port of Spain Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Charges were laid yesterday after instructions from DPP Roger Gaspard.
