National Security Minister criticized for recent crime claim

Former Minister Vasant Bharath is accusing the National Security Minister of refusing to accept responsibility for the crime crisis.

During yesterday’s post-cabinet briefing, Minister Stuart Young alleged there may be a deliberate attempt to spike the crime rate in order to make the Government look bad.

Mr Bharath accused Mr Young of trying to cast blame elsewhere instead of acknowledging the critical and urgent crime problem.

He also criticized the Government at large of refusing to own up to their official obligations.

Mr Bharath ended by calling for “lawful citizen action” to save the country.
