The National Security Ministry describes as “erroneous” a newspaper column on the recent registration of Venezuelan migrants.

It says the editorial in today’s publication of the Trinidad Express states that migrants under the age of 18 years were excluded from the process.

The Ministry however says this is incorrect as all Venezuelan nationals, including children, who presented themselves at registration centers across the country from May 31st to June 14th, were registered.

As such, it is calling for the necessary corrections to be made in this regard.
