NCG Chairman Gerry Brooks resigns

NGC Chairman Gerry Brooks has resigned, with effect from June 30th.

The Trinidad Express reported that he has also stepped down from all State boards on which he was serving.

The National Gas Company issued a statement yesterday saying Mr Brooks “intends to turn his attention to building a family legal practice, the focus of which will include mediation and arbitration”.

It also stated that he intends to support The University of the West Indies’ regional thrust in entrepreneurship and innovation, which is critical to the country’s diversification efforts.
