NHC forecasts another tropical depression next week

A tropical depression is expected to form early next week out of a low pressure area moving across the Atlantic.

According to the National Hurricane Centre, the weather, associated with a tropical wave, is producing cloudiness and disorganised showers several hundred miles west-southwest of the Cabo Verde Islands.

The NHC says environmental conditions appear conducive for development.

It says the chance of formation through 48 hours is around 50 percent while the chance of formation through 5 days is at 80 percent.
