Several diesel-engine vehicles had to drain their fuel after inadvertently filling their tanks with Super gasoline yesterday.
It happened at the NP Diego Martin Service Station, where Super fuel was filled into the Diesel fuel storage tank.
When the matter was discovered, the sale of diesel fuel at this station was suspended and maintenance technicians began to flush the entire system.
NP says the Premium and Super fuel at this station were unaffected, and a new supply of Diesel has since been delivered.
The company plans to fully investigate and analyze the matter, and emphasizes to all its site operators and dealers the importance of following procedures.
