National Petroleum (NP) is urging motorists against panic-buying gas ahead of Potential Tropical Cyclone Two.
The company says its contingency measures and response procedures are in place to ensure the public and aviation industry continue to receive a steady supply of liquid fuels, LPG and jet fuel.
In fact, it assures that service station deliveries are set to continue as scheduled and is encouraging motorists to maintain their normal fuel purchasing patterns.
NP says panic-buying will only cause fuel shortages at the pump.
Meanwhile, its operations at T&T’s two international airports are equipped with adequate fuel supplies.
