Parliament set to resume on Friday

    Cabinet will meet tomorrow to ratify a return to Parliament at 10:30am on Friday.

    According to a media release from the Minister for Communications in the Office of the Prime Minister, the instruction has been passed on to the President.

    Among the expected first orders of business would be legislation to make mask-wearing mandatory.

    Recently, the Health Ministry notes that the draft law was being worked on by the Attorney General.

    It would seek to ensure persons wear their face masks in a bid to stem to spread of COVID-19.
