PCA investigation started into woman’s shooting death during protests


    An investigation has been started by the Police Complaints Authority into the shooting death of a woman during Tuesday’s protests.

    Ms Ornella Greaves was along the Beetham Highway when the fatal incident occurred.

    There has been no clarity on whether the bullet came from the gun of a protester or police.

    However, the PCA reminds that it is an independent oversight body committed to ensuring that no police officer acts above the rule of law.
